Questions
How can I try NOPECUBE?
NOPECUBE is in internal testing with a small group of invited testers. It is not in the App Store or on Google Play yet. If you would like to join a later test, write to us.
I am a tester. Where do I get the build?
- iPhone and Apple Watch: open TestFlight with the Apple Account that was invited and install the latest NOPECUBE build. The watch app installs from the paired iPhone.
- Android and Wear OS: open the Google Play internal testing link you received, signed in with the invited Google account. Until the store review is complete, Google Play may show the name “com.nopecube.app (unreviewed)”.
When you report a problem, include the device, operating system, app version and build number, and what happened. Please leave out screenshots that show a private intention.
How do I delete my data?
Everything NOPECUBE saves stays on your device. In the app, open Settings → Delete local data on each device you use. This removes your choice, ritual plans and intentions, the current and last session, connected actions, closing bell and preferences. From 0.7 it also removes everything in the cube, held requests, tomorrow’s first step, your record and reminders. From 0.8 it also ends anything shown on your lock screen and, on Android, turns NOPE Mode off and removes it wherever it was set up. A small reset marker stays so that an old synced choice cannot return. Uninstalling the app also removes its data.
NOPECUBE has no account and no server that holds your data. Optional phone and watch sync runs through Apple or Google services; the privacy policy explains what they keep. If you have emailed us, ask and we will delete your messages.
Does NOPE block apps or silence notifications?
NOPE does not block apps, and on its own it silences nothing. NOPE does only what you connect and shows you what it did. OPEN closes the moment and turns off what NOPECUBE itself set up, but it cannot undo what another app or Shortcut did. NOPECUBE does not change system Focus on its own. On Android 15 and later, NOPE Mode is planned: while NOPE runs, Android quiets your phone with NOPECUBE’s own Do Not Disturb rule, and you decide what still gets through. OPEN and Undo turn it off, and it is meant to turn off by itself a few minutes after the planned end. It will reach testers only once that works reliably on every phone.
Will NOPECUBE send me notifications?
Only if you ask for them. From version 0.6 you can turn on a closing bell: one local notification at the end of the time you chose. It shows no personal text, never repeats and never changes your choice. From 0.7 (internal testing), you can also turn on one signal when the cube opens, one at a request’s answer time and one at your day-down time. Each is offered once and shows no personal text. The two daily signals, cube opening and day-down time, pause by themselves after three of them in a row go unused; a request’s answer signal comes once for that request. From 0.8 (in development for internal testing), if you say yes once, a silent view shows NOPE and the planned end time while your moment runs: a Live Activity on iPhone, a notification on Android. It has one OPEN button and ends with OPEN. Otherwise NOPECUBE does not notify you.
Do I need the cube?
No. The app is complete without it. The cube is an optional companion and is still in development. “Put it in the cube” is a door inside the app and works without the physical cube.
Is NOPECUBE a treatment?
No. NOPECUBE is a small ritual for everyday boundaries. It is not a medical device or a treatment. If you are going through a hard time, talk to someone you trust or to a health professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Which languages are available?
The app includes 13 languages, and all of them stay in version 1.0. English is the source; the other twelve, Turkish included, are drafts still waiting for review by native speakers. If something reads wrong in your language, please tell us. This website is available in English.
