A dark basalt cube with an illuminated open aperture, encircled by a fine golden loop for the reversible OPEN and NOPE ritual.
THE NOPECUBE RITUALOPEN ↔ NOPE · YOUR CHOICE

Close the loop yourself.

NOPECUBE turns a boundary into a small ritual with a real ending. Choose what it is for, slide N into NOPE and give that moment its time. When you are ready, slide back to OPEN. The loop closes, and you closed it.

In internal testing · not yet in the App Store or on Google Play

The app is the front door

NOPECUBE is an app for iPhone, Apple Watch, Android phones and Wear OS. It works offline, needs no account and keeps your choice on your device. The ritual never waits behind a purchase.

Four doors

The first question is always the same: What are you setting a boundary for?

Protect time

Available in 0.6

Five rituals for time you want to keep: make a little room, one thing at a time, read a little, be here together, put the day down. Choose from 1 to 180 minutes. OPEN closes the moment whenever you decide.

Put it in the cube

In 0.7 (internal testing)

For an open loop or a decision that keeps coming back. Put it in the cube in one line. It returns once, at a time you pick, so you can plan a first step or let it go. It is not an archive and not a treatment. The cube here lives in the app; you don’t need the physical one.

Put the day down

In 0.7 (internal testing)

When work is over, write tomorrow’s first step in one line and slide. In the morning it waits for you once, then gets out of the way.

Hold a request

In 0.7 (internal testing)

“I’ll get back to you.” A request you are not ready to answer waits until the reply time you choose, then returns with a few reply lines you can copy. Yes is an equally good answer. NOPECUBE never sends a message for you.

Availability refers to internal test builds, not the public stores. The 0.7 doors reached invited iPhone testers first; they have no public date.

What NOPE does, and what it does not

NOPE does

  • It starts a timed moment on your device for what you chose.
  • It shows you what it did. OPEN closes the moment, and Undo takes back your last choice.
  • It opens a Shortcut (iPhone) or a link (Android) you connected, only after your choice is saved.
  • From 0.6, if you turn it on, it rings one closing bell at the end of your time. Once, never repeated.
  • In 0.8 (internal testing): one press on a control, a tile or your watch sets NOPE, or OPEN if a moment is running. The app then shows it once, with Undo.
  • In 0.8 (internal testing): if you say yes once, your lock screen shows NOPE and the planned end time, with one OPEN button. Nothing you wrote appears there.
  • Planned: on Android 15 and later, if you set up NOPE Mode, Android quiets your phone with NOPECUBE’s own Do Not Disturb rule. You decide what still gets through. OPEN and Undo turn it off, and it is meant to turn off by itself a few minutes after the planned end. It will reach testers only once that works reliably on every phone.

NOPE does not

  • It does not block apps or websites. It silences nothing on its own; only NOPE Mode, planned for Android and set up by you, would quiet your phone.
  • It does not send messages or reply to anyone for you.
  • It does not decide for you. Reaching your time never changes your choice. NOPECUBE never sets NOPE from a Focus, your location or the time of day: only your slide, your press or an automation you build yourself does.
  • There are no streaks, scores or comparisons with anyone.

NOPE is the boundary you chose. OPEN is choosing to be reachable again. Neither is better.

Items marked 0.8 refer to internal test builds, not the public stores. They reached invited iPhone testers with the 1.0 build; they have no public date. The control needs iOS 18 or later, and NOPE Mode needs Android 15 or later.

Where testing stands

NOPECUBE is in internal testing on iPhone, Apple Watch, Android phones and Wear OS, with a small group of invited testers. It is not publicly available yet. On iPhone and Apple Watch, testers have 1.0, which also brought 0.8; Android phones and Wear OS still have 0.5. 1.1 is being built. We will open wider testing and a public release only after device testing. English is the source; the Turkish text and the other eleven translations are waiting for native-language review, and we will not call a language reviewed before it is. We do not promise dates.

The app has no account, ads or analytics. Your choice, plans and intentions stay on your device. From 0.7, what you put in the cube, requests you hold and tomorrow’s first step are stored encrypted on your phone and are never synced. From 0.8, anything shown outside the app, on the lock screen, a tile or your watch, is limited to NOPE or OPEN, the planned end time and, only if you turn it on, the ritual’s name.

The cube

NOPECUBE is also a desk object in development. You never need it to use the app, and we will publish a hardware timeline only when it is real.

The cube has no power. The power is yours.
